I’ve been thinking a lot about energy flow, life force, and how each of us moves about in the world. So much of what we do is attached to being singular, individual, and separate, and therefore somehow special.
That’s the duality of the human experience. On the one hand, what the heck is going on? Why are we here? And if we are, shouldn’t we make this experience the very best that it can be for all of us? On the other – as individuals, how can we prove that we don’t need anyone else?
Perhaps there is something in the brain that we can tap into, to allow ourselves the grace of understanding what Jill Bolte, brain scientist explains in this TED Talk.
“Who are we? We are the life force power of the universe, with manual dexterity and two cognitive minds! We have the power to choose moment by moment who and how we want to be in the world. Right here, right now – I can step in the consciousness of my right hemisphere where, we are, I am… the life force power of the universe. Where I am the life force power of the 52 trillion molecular geniuses that make up my form – one with all that is.”
As I connect the dots of the true sharing economy and generosity of spirit, I’m reminded that this experience, this feeling is essential to economic transformation – the combination of the “I” and the “We.”
